Legal information

1. The service. LumenLaunch is an online service that uses artificial intelligence to create web-source-based market research reports on a topic you provide (AI Market Research). The Product Listing Generator shares the same account but is sold under separate plans.

1/A. Product Listing Generator paused. The Product Listing Generator is currently paused: no new listings can be created and no new subscriptions can be purchased for it. Data you created earlier is kept and can still be exported or deleted. Existing listing subscriptions are not charged during the pause; if you paid for a period in which you could not use the service, you can request a pro-rata refund at lumenlaunch.app@gmail.com. We will notify you before the service restarts; a restart never triggers an automatic charge.

2. Contract. The contract is concluded for an indefinite period on registration and, for paid plans, on successful payment. The contract language is English or Hungarian, as chosen on the site. We do not file the contract separately; these terms are always available on this page.

3. Plans and prices. AI Market Research: Free (no charge, 1 quick research per week), Starter (EUR 8.99/month, 10 researches/month), Pro (EUR 17.99/month, 25 researches/month, including up to 5 deep researches), Business (EUR 44.99/month, 50 researches/month). The Product Listing Generator and Pro Combo are currently paused and cannot be purchased. New subscription base prices are in EUR; currency conversions on this site are indicative. Stripe may offer a local currency at checkout; the selected currency and final amount are shown before confirmation. Any applicable VAT is shown at checkout before you pay. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Unused quota does not carry over. Existing subscriptions retain their contracted price and currency until separately amended.

4. Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card details. Invoices are issued electronically.

5. Cancellation and right of withdrawal. You can cancel at any time on the Billing page; access stays until the end of the paid period. As an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract without giving reasons. If you expressly request that we start the digital service immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, the right lapses for what has been fully performed; if you withdraw after partial use, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service already provided. 6. Your obligations. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or enter, and for checking generated content before you publish or rely on it. Misuse, automated abuse and attempts to bypass limits are prohibited.

7. AI-generated content. Reports, scores and answers are generated by AI (in line with the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act). The market score is an estimate, not a probability of business success, and nothing in the service is investment, legal, tax or business advice. We aim to rely only on verified sources, but AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Within the limits of the law, our liability is limited to the subscription fee paid for the month concerned; this does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence).

8. Changes and termination. We may change these terms with prior notice; if you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect. Accounts may be suspended for serious or repeated breach.

9. Governing law and complaints. These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in your country. You may also contact the consumer protection authority or alternative dispute resolution body (e.g. a Hungarian conciliation board) competent for you.

Data we process. Account data (email, name), research topics and reports, follow-up conversations, uploaded photos and generated texts, usage counters, and subscription and billing identifiers.

Purposes and legal bases (GDPR). Providing the service and performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); statutory accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)); security and abuse prevention as a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Processors and international transfers. Cloud hosting and database provider, Stripe (payments) and OpenAI (AI processing of your topic, conversation and photos). Some processors are located in the USA; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Public web sources are searched to create reports.

Retention. We keep data for as long as your account exists; billing records are kept for the statutory period (8 years under Hungarian accounting law). Deleting your account deletes your researches, products, photos and generated texts.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability (a JSON export is available in Settings). Contact lumenlaunch.app@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or the data protection authority of your EU country of residence.

Security. Photos are stored privately and are reachable only through signed, time-limited links; access rules restrict your data to your own account. To prevent abuse we store irreversible hashes derived from email and IP addresses. No automated decision with legal effect is made about you.

We only use storage that is strictly necessary for the site to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your settings (e.g. language and currency). We do not use marketing or profiling cookies, so no consent banner is required.

You can delete stored data in your browser at any time; this may sign you out.
